    One of my favorite birds after female grackles :) Captured this one as it was banking and in pouring rain !! Wish I had a lower shutter speed for showing the rain better !!

    Always like a raining shot, including this one. Love the full wing span and the open beak, very nice. TFS :D

    Al,

    Greetings. That is quite the spectacular shot! Love the color & the rain. One of those exceptions that makes the rule (thirds) on the comp. Thanks for posting this one.

    I wish I could take a shot like this. I like the pose, sharpness, and banking. Am I seeing a colour cast in the wings.(blue) Probably just my monitor and due to overcast conditions.

    Hi Troy For the camera/lens we use the Hydrophobia and keeps all totally dry and allows you to shoot comfortably .. nothing like it !! No cover for myself :)
