    D3 200-400mm @ 400 mm... 1/640 f8 iso 5200,

This wild dog pack just stop long enough for me to catch a few quick images... this was the first time the pups had accompanied the adults on a hunt.. obviously not participating but slowly following behind with two adult minders , from time to time the pack wud double back and meet the pups

Nice to see the pups Peter, good to know the pack has new blood coming up.

If you found they were using the path and had been watching them for sometime, I might have been tempted to head up in front and wait, as head on shots I feel are better than from behind, if it were possible? I do find the WD in the foreground slightly distracting, but commend you for getting the shot and result at such a high ISO.

    Peter,
This does not really work for me, in particular the OOF dog in left hand corner. Judging by the shadows it seems like there wassome light, why ISO 5200?

Amazing quality for the high ISO Peter !!! Like the experimentation Wished the pack would have moved and given you a different look !!
