    I am having too much fun with the Juveniles lately. :)
    Caught this incoming one, got one sharp frame.

    Camera: NIKON CORPORATION NIKON D700
    Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000)
    Aperture: f/8.0
    Focal Length: 700 mm
    ISO Speed: 320
    Exposure Bias: -2/3 EV
    Flash: No Flash

    Troy:

    Nice flared landing pose, well exposed.
    I find the background just a bit busy. I might also consider increasing the contrast on the birds slightly. I know they are quite soft appearing, but I bit more contrast would help here.

    Glad you are enjoying the juvies. Look pretty big!

    Hi Troy I know those birds are light but would not mind seeing a bit of stronger color (on bird) Will make it stand out from bg better .. .also not sure why the f8.0 brings bg too much into play, here I take my chances with a wider aperture !! Good looking image !!!

    Great head on capture Troy, I might think about trading off aperture to get more background separation, tough to do in the heat of battle though.
