Default 7D lcd protection suggestions plz

just got a 7d and would appreciate your suggestions about lcd protection. Anyone like the Delkin w pop up shade?

Also, I am jumping into macro and thought I'd purchase Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS today for 884.00, thats 65$ off because of last day of rebate. Any thoughts and thanks

ZAGG Invisisheild, inexpensive, durable and lifetime replacement warranty. I have them on cameras, cell phones, iPad, GPS units, etc. Easy to apply.

I was under the impression that the lcd was made from scratch resistant glass?? I have not bothered with any protection for any of my cameras and they have been OK. regards macro lens I would not jump into macro - consider what you want to photograph. If it is flowers or perhaps fish in tanks for example then a 100mm is fine if it is insects best value is Sigma 150mm (gives you a longer working distance i.e. distance from the lens hood to the subject, you may also wish to buy the Sigma 1.4TC to match it. Next the Sigma 180mm a little longer working distance than the 180 but with the lens hood on there is not much difference - also the 1.4 TC has limited functionality with the lens combinations. I bought the Canon 180mm - rip off price but would not change it for anything - fully compatible with Canon 1.4TC works like a dream. Hope this helps.

Another vote for ZAGG - I use them on all electronic gadgets and cameras.

I have yet to ever scratch the glass on any of my canon cameras, you can buy a replacement glass piece from canon for around the same price as those covers from what I recall

Don't use anything either and no problems so far

Regarding macro great advice from Jonathan Depending on what you want to go after the longer focal length would be better. Quality the only non Canon lens that I own is the Sigma 180 macro !! Can recommend !!

........... btw just watched the video on the ZAGG and its quite impressive !!!!!!!
