    I really hadn't shot anything for a couple of of months until very recently. So here is a Snowy Plover in breeding plumage from last week.

    It feels good to be posting again. I did a little beach cleanup in PS

    50D, 100-400mm lens
    1/1600 sec, f/7.1, ISO 400
    almost full frame

    Nice low-angle portrait, Aidan, good details and lovely BG. A tad more catchlight might give more eye contact, but I also like it as presented. TFS!

    Nice image to boot too, love how he's checking the air for possible trouble. Very nice EXP and creamy palette, good HA, pose and catchlight.
