Under light rain at the colony. This nesting site is roped twice. Once near the birds, then a second roped area, real large, to keep people away in the popular and crowded beach, where the birds have chosen to nest for the past 4 years. It is my guess they feel quite comfortable there since the keep coming back, having lots of deserted beach to claim. They were never bothered by our presence.
