Hi Ken, What an interesting bird. I love the variation of colors and the bill is stunning. Good sharpness/details. If you have a bit more room at the bottom I would suggest adding some back as the tip of the tail feathers are a little tight for my taste. The warm light lovely but is causing some clipping of the red channel. If this were mine I would try a toning down the reds just a bit. Nice background and I love the branch the bird is perched on. Do you have any of this species with the tail fanned?

Yes, the red channel looks a bit hot and I would also crop some off the perch on the right side, as much as you can afford, I'm confused where the tail ends and the shadow begins
    Nice looking bird!

    Phil,
I have never been able to get images of this bird before they are usually endlessly flitting about in a haphazard fashion. The only images I have showing the tail are pretty hopeless.
    Fabs,
I see what you mean about the tail, it seems to be blending into the tree.

I have another which I will post later.
