    Hi all,

My local Robin has been kind enough to frequent the garden recently. I have experimented before with some flash guns in an attempt to freeze the action. What do you think about this picture?

    Canon 1DMKIII, 130mm, f9, 1/00th, ISO 200 + flash

    Thanks for your feedback.

This is impressive indeed. How many flashes did you use?

Great timing. I like the wing position and stretched out legs. The perch looks good, too. What is the BG? Maybe a tad overflashed?

Great moment ! interesting fact is that bird don`t look at landing point but down.....I see this first time :)...robins often tend to land on the top of the perch :) not like this....very interesting

    Hi all,

Thanks for your feedback. To answer the questions raised, I used three flash guns. In the higher resolution image you can count them in the birds eye and the background is slate.

    Cheers

    Austin
