Hi Jay...beautifully done! I like the way you placed the bg around the lotus...very sharp....good placement.....colors look right on! Great work!

    Hey Jay,
Just be careful with the 24 hour posting guideline as the site goes through it's revamp!
The light on this is just super and the placement of the lotus with the leaf in the BG really takes this up another notch. If I micro mange.....I fill in the black area with leaf green in the bottom right frame edge......notice I didn't say crop because if you crop to eliminate.....it would be too tight......but filling it in if you are OK with such things is a good option.
Even with that area.....I like this one a ton! Very nicely done!

No biggie Jay! The forum doesn't usually allow it.....must be one of the fixes still to go!

Beautiful colours and exposure but i think I would have liked to have seen a little of the interior of the flower.

Gorgeous image, Jay! I also contemplated taking out that black area at the bottom of the frame when I first opened the image but couldn't decide for sure as I do think it also balances the left side a bit. However, after looking at it longer, I think Roman's right.

Beautiful lighting...this really shows off the depth of the colors without relying on oversaturation. Well done!

There is something so special about the Lotus flower! I like how you framed the flower with the leaf. Lovely light. The flower stands out nicely against the green leaf. I would leave the black on lower edge. Good job.
