Red Necked Grebe

This bird is nesting on Logan Lake, B.C. next to a campground. He/She had just taken a bath. It was interesting to see he/she eat their own down feathers as they pulled them out preening.

Hi Roy Like the low angle and placement in frame, the little extra space up front helps !! Would take some for the top and give it a slight contrasts boost !!1 Like it a lot !!

Thanks Alfred. I checked on this nest when leaving for home and when I checked my pictures there was a funny straight line and a bright spot near her foot. Upon closer examination I found it was a spinning lure with line attached.
