    This image was taken about a year ago. This species was one of my targets of that trip and I was really happy with what I got :)

    And you should be happy with this lovely portrait, Jan. Good detail on bird's head, nice head angle, perch and BG. A round of NR on the BG would make the bird pop even more. Could you post the f/stop and shutter speed? TFS!

    I believe it was F11 and 1/320

    I see the little noise now, too. Must have come in when I resized the image from a larger webversion I had previously processed...

    Very striking light, composition and calling pose. Perch a plus and I like that you left the piece of leaf at the border.

    Corn Buntings are cool. I love them.
    The image is great. I like the warm light, the perch and the open bill. BG is perfect.
