    1D MkIII
    100-400 f/4.5-5.6L @ 400
    1/500 @ f/9
    +1 EV
    ISO 400

    PP in Lightroom. I added some additional canvas to the left and bottom in PS. The reflection was edited to complete the bill and top of the head.

    Nice sharp vertical portrait, David, good eye contact. Nice BG and I really love the blue FG. The head and bill reflections seem just a tad too strong to me, considering what appears to be a somewhat roughened blue FG surface. Maybe you could reduce the opacity on that layer. Was the FG water? Congrats!

    Yes, the foreground is a puddle on the beach reflecting the sky. I actually did not enhance the reflection at all, with the exception of what I mentioned in the original post, so it is natural.

    Now, if I could just figure out why I don't have a thumbnail. :)
