Nice new look we got here, Thanks to all the people behind BPN for putting up such a great platform for wildlife lovers and photographers across the globe to meet, share and learn. Its done wonders I must say.

This is a Red watted lawing taking off a ant Hill, these guys are really noisy and are the watchmans of the grasslands. one small distrubance and they scream...

Hi Kiranbhai, yes I agree, most lapwings are noisy. Good take off posture, and I like the bits of flying dirt below the feet. Interesting markings and colours on the head, as we dont have this species here. Another great smooth BG from you.

    Hey Kiran,
Great light/action/ and BG. I may have preferred to see a bit more of the dirt mound below ( I do mean very little) but the open mouth and pose more than make up for that. While I generally prefer sharp wing tips......the motion blur combines with the flying bits of dirt really add to the overall appeal of the image. Very nicely done!

Kiran, this is excellent. The pose with the open beak and the take-off moment is captured perfectly.

Fantastic bird with a great pose, nice sharpness, and a clean BG. The kicked up dirt adds a lot to the image. Do wish that I could see a bit more dirt on the left side of the frame.
