    pity about the perch.....but the Kingfishers are not fussy ....so I guess I wont be either.....

    What grand light you had for this one......great timing to get this action. I like it in that it leaves so much to the imagination of "What will happen next"?

    Excellent shot! A lovely bg and a nice bit of action it looks as if the flying Kingfisher wants to steal himself a meal.

    it was indeed a joy to observe thru a viewfinder:) this interaction... there was 3 pied KF s a juvenile was also around ..but cud not get all 3 in frame.. the outcome was that neither of them got to eat the barracuda as it was dropped .....and a tern took advantage...
