Mt. Shasta, northern California. These circular clouds appear often over the 13,000+ ft mtn. Full photo with slight curves adjustment. (And yes, the sky does get that blue)

Excellent composition, Hazel. This is first time I am seeing lenticular over Mt Shasta. The only thing I can suggest is a small nr. TFS.

Nice portrait of Mt. Shasta Hazel! Love that lenticular cloud and I don't think I've seen that before either. The other clouds above give a sense of the volcano this once was. Agree with Indranil on the bit of NR. Strong composition with the diagonal line of the trees. One of my favroite places!

Nice composition Hazel. Never seen that type of formation before. Agree with some NR and maybe a bit off the top. The colour of the sky is quite something.

thanks. I lived there 13 years and enjoyed many sights of these clouds. Has something to do with the mists forming over the glacier that sits in the top of the mtn. Agree with the NR>

Beautiful image, Hazel. Nice strong composition and beautiful sky color. NR has already been mentioned. I think I would also sharpen the tree line a little bit.

Hazel, I think the blues are stunning. I like the dark diagonal line of the fg contrasting with Mt. Shasta. I also would like to see a little off the top (right above the top rh cloud).
