    Sky about 2 stops underrexposed (?)
    2 exposure blend
    ISO 200
    vari ND filter
    12- 24 mm at 18mm

    Hi Bob, Good job getting an even exposure and using the cut as a leading line.
    You might want to look at your horizon and give it some CW rotation.
    Not sure if you dodged the lower portions of the rocks in the cut but they look a little manipulated to my eye.
    I like the softness of the water and the colored sky.
    A sidenote...not sure if this would of been possible to position yourself a bit more to the left so the cut opening was facing the opening between the islands. Very possible they wouldn't lineup and still get the opening...

    Good suggestion on moving left if that would have worked. I agree that the background looks very skewed but the clouds look OK (at least to me).

    This has been a nice series of images.

    Hey Bob,
    Excellent suggestions by Dave.......It does appear a rotation is in order. I'd imagine you used the vari-nd?.....that may have blocked up some of the darker areas....see if you can eek out some subtle detail in there. Very nice series indeed!
