    Default Bosque 2006

Bosque 2006 was my very first IPT with Artie. The unexpected bonus
was meeting Linda Robbins, who is a fantastic person.

Anyway, the setup for this shot.

The gang was there for the early dawn blast off. Of course, there's also
    a million other photographers there.

Eventually, Artie started shouting to the whole crowd (cause it was so dark,
it was practically impossible to see who was who) that the wind was coming
from a certain position and that we were moving.

So the group of us pick up our gear, and if memory serves me right, we setup
    across the road.

While we were waiting, Artie was explaining how he felt the next wave would
pass right over us. He was also miffed that nobody else came from the deck
    (their loss).

Wouldn't you know it...those darn birds flew exactly where Artie said they would.
We got our shots while the group on the deck got nothing but sky.

If there was one point that made me say, 'listen to everything this guy says', that
    was it.

    Then, there was Barry...

    Anyhoo, back to the image...

I like it Doug !!!! Colors like this make an image !!! Would have loved to see the other head full and sharp A little more separation would have been nice For this images I like cropping to a more rectangular shape to emphasize the forward motion !!!! Beautiful Doug .... nice things happen when Artie is around !!!!

Luckily, I have lots of space in the original so I can play with
    any type of crops.

If you're talking about the head on the goose on the right, what would you
think if I just cloned out the far wing and "trimmed" around the head to
    make it appear sharp?

Guys, I think the head is sharp, it just gets lost in the blurry wing.

Doug, it all boils down to your personal ethics. If you are OK with cleaning the head, might as well separate the Geese while you are at it ;)

Below is the edited version. I took out the far wing and cleaned up about a pixel width
    between the birds.

If I had to choose which one? Probably the first...no wait the second....hmmm maybe
    the first...
