Beautiful two toned, subdued pastel background is just right for this subject.

Overall pose, sharpness, exposure, etc are just as they should be.

Beautiful color of the bg adds to this. Pose and exposure are right on too. The only possible thing that keeps this shot from being "perfect" is the shadow under the wing.

I like it a lot. This is a classic shot - the kind you would see in a bird book showing all the features of the avocet.

Good light, eye contact and sharpness and only wish the entire underside of the near wing were sunlit.

The image quality is outstanding showing very good detail. The pose is good and I also like the catchlight in the eye.

Loving the creamy BG, pose, he'd angle and catch light. TFS.

Arash, this one's a winner. full-frame shot with full-frame camera....killer stuff. no wonder the BG is so creamy. You must've been really close. Thx for sharing this gem.

Fantastic image this. The bird very nicely separated from a beautiful BG.
