I like this one a lot Arash. Those claws are sharp as tack and the body angle and eye contact both looks good to me. What a great looking bird.

Intense eye contact and lots of energy shown in the bird make this very strong. The less than ideal BG is the only weakness that I see. The strong bokeh helps mitigate that a lot, but I think I see houses and there's something below the claws that grabs too much attention. This is 99th percentile as is.

    Arash,

Greetings. The sharp talons make this one for me... wouldn't want to be on the other end of those!

    Cheers,

There are no houses in the BG, it just marsh and water :D

    Hi Arash:
I like the image posted very much, I love the fact that the depth of field extend from the beak to the talons, the well illuminated breast plumage and also the sharpness of the yellow eyes. I think that the background is blurred enough to be distractive. Very well done.
I'm looking forward to seeing more,

Hi Arash! This is one amazing shot! I wish it were in my portfolio! The only suggestion I can make ( if your ethics allow) would be to take a low opacity brush filled with bg color and paint over the bg right under the bird where the bg is a bit splotchy....to get a a better blend:)
