Ken, I love the golden BG! I do think I'd bring the crop in a bit more if this were mine. I'd go more horizontal, taking some off the bottom and a slice off the top. Nice angle within the frame and beautiful detail from this angle on the df. Looks like he's got a little grape for a head!

    Hey Ken,
I agree the BG is super. Not my favorite pose on DF......but it does show off the wings very well this way! Tack where it needs to be and I'm with Jules on the crop...although bottom and left would also work. Nice luxuries to have......with multiple crop options.....very nice handled on the rest all around!

Hey Ken, I think you did well on all points, but I agree with Roman on the pose, not my fav from behind.

Love the background and the detail is super. I'm wondering if this is the one you shot at the pond across the road from your house when I was there.

Very nice image and lovely colours, fine detail. I would consider a crop and rotating anticlockwise to make the wings almost diagonal.

Sometimes it is nice to see the back of an insect. I like the details on the back. Lovely colors. No comment on crop. I like them tight, but it is ok as is.

I liked the way the BG turned out which is probably why I didn't crop as tight as I should have. It didn't feel right cropping away all the good stuff. :)

Yes, it is. You should have some similar shots.
