    Default Spoon fed? :)

Fun watching spoons babies being fed, they terrorize the parents !!! Not much light for this one so was shot wide open for speed and 800 which is the max I feel comfortable with the 7D in this type light. Best to worry about getting a sharp image then all else.

This are difficult form the isolating point, lots of other spoons and a ton of baby ibis .. lucked out with this one just needed to evict a small part of a bird. Sure wish we had some decent weather since all other conditions were fine ! .. btw exposure wise guessed one and one third over off the birds checked histogram then set in manual.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

Morning Alfred. :) Why do you feel 800 is max ISO? Does the noise level creep up or ... ?

Saw the weather this morning and it looks like another rainy day in FLA. Wish we could trade you some sunshine for some rain. ;)

Hi Meesh Not so much about the noise but plain poor IQ With these conditions, dark rainy, there is so little contrast the images just don't come out at higher ISO settings.

Al, i'd agree with you on the IQ, noise pro will take care of it, but for what? Good capture considering the circumstances! Man, what a rainy weekend!

Love the title and the action. Great comp and I like the bg. Nice work under tough conditions. Wish we had some clouds and rain -- we've been at 100 degrees for several days now, with harsh sunlight morning to night, and more of the same forecast.

    Aha, familiar spot. :)
I think that is the same Juve that was attacking the parents two weeks ago when I was there. :)
