    Default King Eiders......interacting!

I thought this one would fit the project nicely. I had actually decided to stay in for the evening as I was tired and the light/weather was not good. After just settling in I got a call from the group.....King Eiders found.....only 1/10th of a mile off a road. I jumped out of bed, got dressed (hair still damp from a shower) and headed out with the guys. Well....the wind was howling and the message was not quite what they thought they'd heard......it wasn't 1/10th of a mile from the road but.....8/10th of a mile from the road.....and through snow banks, ice, water, tundra, etc. Although the conditions were the toughest that I'd ever experienced....the rewards were fantastic.

I am so glad your perils were rewarded with this couple, he is certainly beautiful, the light is what it is and the interaction priceless. Glad you had a good trip.

From the looks of this it was well worth the effort! I may crop a bit at bottom, but I love the male's colours against the grayish tones of the image. Excellent interaction :-)

    Lana:

Very well rewarded for the effort. Nice interaction, love the males spurs on back. It looks cold. Water splash adds.

    Cheers
