    took this the other week on my local river,cannon 50d,cannon 400mm lens,hand held,1/1600 sec,f5.6,iso800,some tweeks in ps.thanks.comments good or bad welcome.

    I like the raised foot...and the bit of food in his mouth. These shorebirds are always moving and you did well to catch in this position. I might be tempted to add just a tad more sharpening to him. Add the techs with your post.....it helps us to see how you photographed and what you did.....and will also help us to help you. Well done.

    Agree with Lana's comments on sharpening a bit more. I love the colors in the water and the pose. Nice pose and action captured. TFS.

    Christopher, I like the pose, background, raised foot . . . would like to see a bit more sharpening.
