Default White Ibis In Breeding Colors

This is such a frequently seen bird here in Florida but they change dramatically in breeding season. Their beaks almost become a fire engine red as do their feet. Could not resist taking this one in flight.

nice angle towards you, good exposure and great detail Judy...love how the blue eye contrasts with the red beak.

Lovely flight shot, Judy, great detail and eye contact. The bright bill color, downbeat wings and beautiful BG make this one pop! TFS!

I like the angle, sharpness and BG. The whites could go a tad darker for my taste.

I like it for all the reasons mentioned. But that perfect head shadow on the underwing brings it home for me Judy!

Loverly wing position, great SH, and EXP perfect. But if you want to see the really red vulturines you need to get out to Alafia with James Shadle next year :)
