    Would have liked a little more head turn- kinda like the shape formed by the wings - Catchlight in the eye is a little more visible in the full size original - cropped a tad.

    Light angle could have been better - got the face even illuminated.

    I like the shape of the wing too, kind of look like a bottom of a heart :D
    The bird looks sharp and I can make out the eye easily. I also like the stick in the beak. Part of the bird maybe in shadow but I can see the details so wasn't bother by that.

    Lance, nice shot. Just a suggestion/question, what if you leveled the birds shoulders/ wings as much as possible and then crop like a panorama.... I tried it but on the version you posted, it cut off the bird's left wing. I don't know if you can do it with your original. You might try it and see what you think, just for kicks??
