Another Meerkat image from the same encounter as my previous post. As others pointed out there, the light is quite harsh. This was made at 9:20 in the morning and normally I put my Canon babies in their bags after 8:30 in summer, but this was the only opportunity I had with this group...

You have a real winner here Vincent! Great low angle, excellent composition and subject placement and perfect poses IMO. The only tiny nit I have is that the sky is a bit too saturated, otherwise a killer shot! Very well done!

I like it Vincent. The low angle acquaints the viewer with the view of the Meerkats.

Great angle Vincent! I agree with sky being a little too saturated but an easy fix. If we only had great morning light to shoot with all the time............. very well done in the lighting conditions you had and I'm glads you didn't pass on the opportunity,

Meerkats are cool critters and this is a very nice image. I really like the composition with both looking off to the left and the low camera angle works great here. Agree about the sky.

I like this a lot. Great composition, setting and behavior. The slightly oversaturated sky has been mentioned.

Nice one Vincent. As mentioned the angle is great. It's almost like crawling out of their burrow myself. I also like the opposing front/back poses. I'd have to agree with the comments about the sky.

Great capture! The angle of the camera really makes the picture a lot more interesting. The colors are also very vibrant.

    Great Job!

Great low down angle Vincent, and I just love these guys. So alert. Maybe using the dodge tool to bring out their eyes a bit more. Still, a great image.
