    Default Azure damselfly

I could only photograph this one with the front, but I liked the pose. What do you think?

I think it is kind of cute--those big blue eyes on either side of the stick. I like the composition, with the insect placed off center. Lovely, soft BG. I wish the insect were just a bit sharper.

I agree...there's a pose you don't see every day but the bottom of the tail is OOF, darn it. I would sharpen the entire insect a bit more but this is one unique look at a dragonfly, Thijs!

I very much like this unique pose and composition. Agree with Julie on tail being OOF and sharpnes issues, but a great pose!

    Hey Thijs,
Very unique perspective! I do think the above comments are correct for this one to work fully....you need more sharpness....especially on the eyes! I like the way you looked at this unconventionally though...and for that you need to be applauded!

I think this is great, Thijs! It's a fantastic pose and as Anita said, it's really kind of cute.

I agree that the eyes could use a little added sharpening but I don't feel it's necessary add sharpening to other areas.
