Nice comp and action!

Looks like light angle was an issue with most of the head, eye, and body in shadow.
Seems a bit soft overall and wish the wing tip was not clipped.

I like the angle and inclusion of the grass at the bottom. Adding to Mike's comments, the image could go a bit brighter for my taste. You could try to raise the midtones in levels to 1.1 or so.
