Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Been real busy with printing notecards to sell at the local farmers' market and a local gift shop. This is an old photo that I had processed a few weeks ago. I desaturated the image a bit and then added two of my textures and an orton effect. I also used a number of curves layers to get the look I wanted. Any comments and suggestions would be most appreciated!

Lovely composition and terrific colors. The only thing I can think to help improve this is maybe toning down the couple of whiter spots. Not that they are hot or anything but they grab my eye a little. The textures look very nice. Congrats on the note cards!! You have some great stuff!!

Hi Christopher, good to see you posting. Lovely soft colors and textures! Agree with toning down those few spots to match the rest of the image. Maybe a tiny crop from the right for me. :)

Love the texture and the overall feel of the image Christopher. (I wondered where you'd been!) I also think toning down the white areas would add to this.

Beautiful image, Christopher. I like the comp, colors and texture. I agree about toning the whites just a bit.

Agree with toning down the brighter spots Christopher. But the feel is fantastic. Do you Orton the whole thing or just the rose?

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the comments. I see your point on the white spots and will repost later if I get a chance. Jackie, the Orton effect was applied over the whole image after adding the textures.

Beautiful effects. Others already mentioned the lighter spots. Good luck with selling your cards!
