Default Scissor-tailed Flycatcher pair in flight

This is an image I captured in a courtship flight. The pair would fly up very high (note bad light angle) and begin their descent while circling each other and calling out quite loud. I was lucky enough to capture a few images that were in focus:o...as this happened very quickly and they were quite problematic to follow in my viewfinder.

Hope you enjoyed and as always C&C welcomed and encouraged.

Terrific interaction captured Jason! You got both birds sharp, the exposure is good, and there's no overlap between birds. The feather and tail position of the male is outstanding, but I do wish there was better eye contact. The female was also captured in a great pose. Wish I'd been there with you! :)

Fantastic!!! I won't be surprised if this is the best image ever taken of this behaviour. Eye contact is not an issue here at all IMO.

Great action / interaction image of a very striking bird. The composition, focus and color are spot on.

I'm sure this was a tough shot to get. You sure hit the nail with this one. I'd like a slightly better head angle from the female, but considering how much you got right here, I won't complain.
