    Something different...I like this and would love to have your views? Another example to show that eye contact isn't the be-all end-all of a decent wildlife photo IMHO...:D

    Taken in Central Kruger over December 2009.

    Techs:
    Nikon D300s with Nikkor 200-400mm VR @ 400mm
    f4.0 @ 1/1000 SS @ ISO-800
    Nearly full frame, cropped some space from all sides

    Hi Morkel
    Well done with 'seeing' this shot whilst you were shooting. Liked the contrast, the curves, the repetition and the detail. A great shot for me, wish I had taken it.

    Morkel, works for me. Like the framing of the foal and the way I can almost feel the way it is searching to get a drink. Detail and composition all good.

    Hey Mork, great perspective, and love that we can see the foal's mouth searching for its next drink. B&W works well too.

    Morkel, I think you really nailed it here. I love it when I see photographs with the not so obvious moments. You really have to pay attention to get these kinds of shots. Very well done, and thanks for sharing.
