In the colder months....must say it is a lot nicer now on the beach than it was that day! Cold (low 20's) with a blustery wind! This was from a large sequence of the mating......my wife says I have issues:eek:!

This pretty much proves that the chicken was first. :) Great capture of the moment, sharpness and exposure look very good. If anything, I might remove the brighter area behind the female or is that the reflection of the plumage in the water?

    Hey Axel,
Thanks! I think I did remove the reflection in my first post a while back....will definitely explore that here too! Will not venture into the philosophical debate;)!

Roman, Very nice interaction captured w/ great eye contact. Nice to see the beach and the water as they add some nice color tones to the image. I don't mind the reflection it looks natural.

Perfect! Is the word to define this image. It has all the elements to be a winner. Great DOF, low angle gives a feeling of being right there, the amazing and natural colors e last, the crisp detail all over the picture.

Congratulations for such an amazing work. I wish it was mine :)

    My best regards,

    Filipe Caetano

Excellent detail and perfect timing (for a voyeur! :D). I like Axel's idea of evening out the area behind the female.
