    Default Weekly Theme: Tortugowl Rising

    Attached Images Attached Images

The original was an injured sea turtle in a tub at the Turtle Hospital in Marathon, FL. Including the obvious flip, I used liquify to reshape and accentuate the turtle to look a little more avian (perhaps?). I used Topaz Adjust to smooth the background and add details to the critter.

    Thanks for looking!

Cindy, Your use of the liquid tool has taken this to another level IMO. Very creative and the BG is very pleasing.

Nice composition, Cindy. Agree with Denise on your use of liquify. Great colors and the bg.

I like your Tortogowl Cindy. Might try gradient in the BG for more depth. Just NIDA:).

Cindy, you made me laugh out loud with this one...good for you! Outstanding use of the liquify tool and man, do I love that tortugowl! I like the idea of a gradient layer or even a pop in contrast. Such a quality piece of digital art...I really like this one!

Cindy, I love your creativity and ability to take the themes in different directions! Very nicely done and I agree with Denise that the liquify filter really makes these images stand out! My eye can wander all over the image and enjoy all the details. Well done!

Thank you all so very much for you comments. I do appreciate them.

Jackie, I like the idea of a gradient background. I'll have to give it a try when I get a chance.
