Default A Parting Gift for Kerry

This has been a week for Kerry, to just try to lie down and catch some winks, between judging duties here. Through the technological advances of electro-photo-mind imaging, we were able to capture one of the images of those dreams, for your viewing pleasure. The image roughness is due to the technological limitations of the electro-photo-mind imaging software. That will be improved as technology advances. ;)

Guess we scared Kerry out of the board membership into the “management” level. Glad he will be with the board though. Congratulations Kerry and sleep well!!! :D

In addition to the electro-photo-mind imaging, the following modifications in CS4 were used to enhance this image; Accented Edges, Topaz Detail, Frosted Glass, Rough Pastels, sandwiching of a separate copy layer with Glowing Edges, Ink Outline, Sphere Distortion, Ocean Ripples, and multiple applications of Vibrance, Hue, Saturation and other standard tone/color adjustments.

This image is derived from a double flip and crop of an Lion Country Safari image of a White-handed Gibbon, which is one of the more gentle primates, unless they are flipped-out! ;) :D

    Enjoy!

Mark, This reminds me of a hook rug. Doesn't even look like a flip. Neat colors.

Or maybe a welcome gift. Like the sparkly effect Mark. Nice gesture welcome our new "mod".

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Thanks Kerry for your past efforts and willingness to move on with the OOTB group.

Attached is an example of the workflow of the image, from gentle Gibbon :) to Kerry's Nightmare!

The shaded area is the image that was cropped off the Gibbon and flipped, to create the second image, which was flipped and cropped on the mouth, to form the base for the final work.

Hope this clarifies it a little. Yes, it did come from a Gibbon! :D

Sorry, just noticed that the shade is on the wrong side. Change the above to be that the shaded side was not cropped out, but was left! The Gibbons left side was the source of the image. Would change it but ...

Wonderful image, Mark! I saw the "monkey" relationship as soon as I opened it but never would have guessed how you went from point A to point B. Thanks for showing the workflow!
