The Stilts at Wakodahatchee were actively defending the chicks as they take pretty much every bird as a potential threat. The light was quite low.

Position and pose are VG and I even like the BG environs!.....given the SS..... you had excellent technique in keeping that much sharp!

Bird perfectly portrayed and images that include habitat always trump those that don't in my eyes. Not too keen on the horizontal "band" between the wings but it comes with the territory.
