    Default Calla and the bee

I haven't had much time to work on this week's theme... so here is one I worked sometime ago but did not get a chance to post it earlier. This is a calla lily with the bee sitting on it. Used a 24-70mm @f/4. Applied Fractalius and used a layer mask to paint over with different opacity. Adjusted levels, saturation and and applied usm for the final effect. Hope you like it...

Very nice Fract, Indranil! I'd take some off the bottom to put the bee closer to the ROT's position instead of dead center. Nice soft fract work and it really adds to the sloping feel of the flower.

Cool work with the fract, Indranil. I like the flow of the lines and the use of light. I think agree with Julie about cropping a bit from the bottom.

    Nice image and application, Indranil.

I like the original and the Horz the best. I like the inclusion of the fading lines on the bottom of the original image, which are lost in the repost. But ... ;)

Very lovely image Indranil! I love the sharpness of the bee contrasted with the soft flower and I like the bright fract lines above the bee.

Very nice fract work Indranil! Lovely soft tones and depth. I like the landscape orientation better. Well done!

Indranil, I love the horizontal comp. and the frac. work is special. This has a very nice abstract quality to it. I'd hang it!!:)

Indranil, I think the horizontal crop suits the image. It's beautifully abstract.:)
