    Hi Don, Good placement in the frame and wing position. The open beak is a bonus.Good angle with muted backround. Seeing you took this(based on the shadow) somewhere around midday you managed a good exposure and captured the detail...

    Good one Don Only softer light would have made it better !!! Love the up wings and calling !! The wings make all the difference in this species... down sure look drab !!! Excellent image !!!

    Don, like the behavior and the compo of this shot. Agree with light, but still a nice shot.

    Big thks guys, yes the sun came up with Like a fireball;note the 647AM Stamp...The heat index was 106 ::eek:: by 830 am. I'm awaiting the release of the new Canon Air-conditioned Camera! :D:D

    Don -I like this a lot. Nice comp and action. Did you clone something near the shadow's head? It looks slightly fuzzy in that area but the rest of the sand at that dof isn't as fuzzy.
