    Lovely portrait!
    Great pose, detail, exposure, and comp, and dark BG works well.

    You nailed the exposure, Troy. Delicate colors and nice detail. Lovely all around!

    Excellent exposure Troy, was this handheld or with tripod? Just curious what lens? Well done.

    Hi Troy,

    I also like the dark background and how it displays the bird. The soft pinks are lovely. The slight head turn is just right in my opinion. Well exposed and good detail. Well done and thanks for sharing.

    Very lovely head portrait that would have been a great vertical IMO. Very dramatic color palette.

    Thank you all for the great comments, really appreciate it.
    @Cory, I shot this with 500mm + 1.4 TC on Gitzo.
    @Fabs, isolation was difficult that day as the banks were full of Juvi ibis and spoonbill. This was so close that I only got part of the legs. If you get a chance to go with James, hope they will be there.
