    Default Red-throated Loon

This Red-throated Loon was photographed north of the town Falun in the middle of Sweden!
Every year the same Red-throated Loon couple nesting here! This year they only have one chick to feed! The image show the last start of the day for the father! He came back 30 minutes later with a fish to the chick!

I used my Canon 40D, Canon EF 300/28.L IS USM, Canon EF 2x Extender, 600mm, f/8, 1/1250s, iso 400, aperture priority, -1,3 stops and i use my Ameristep Doghouse!

Maybe someone think the light is to warm but it was exactly like this :)

Cool idea, takeoff pose and light. If it were mine, I would remove the specular highlight above the head and the bright line between the wings.

The repost looks very good but it would have been better to keep the original and reply to your post with the altered version so that other people can see what you did.

I do not think it is too warm but too good ;) Love the backlighting, the rim light, water splash, timing and composition. A killer image that it is even better in the repost :)
