    Canon EOS REBEL T1i
    Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS @ 400mm
    Av mode
    1/200"
    F10
    ISO:200
    Pop-up flash on (my 430ex is in the shop)
    LR & CS3

    It was windy so I shot with a larger ap to get a faster SS. I also tried some at ISO 400 but they didn't come out too well. Selective sharpening was done on the front petals but I took it as far as I could without making them look screwy. Image was rotated slightly CW.

    wow Ken, this is gorgeous! Love the angle you caught the butterfly at. Superb details and color. Great background.

    Hey Ken,
    super job on this with the DOF and the sharpness.....only recommendation....hair more room on bottom for coneflower petals (even for me!).....really nice job with this!

    Beautiful image and spectacular colours. I don't want to do you an injustice, as I know the quality of light is sometimes different in America but to me the colours do look just a little intense - in view of the other comments I suspect it is I who is out of tune.
