    Default Sunset Light at Bombay Hook

    While watching a sunset at Bombay Hook De recently, I turned around and saw this cloud catching some nice light
    Nikon D-300
    1/250 sec at f4
    ISO1600
    12-24 mm Tokina lense at 12 mm
    All comments welcome!

    Hi Bob A couple of thinks I can come up with here ... .did you have a tripod? .. even if you did not you can safely use a much lower shutter speed .. I would be comfortable shooting at 1/50th and holding well 1/30 would produce a good sharp image !!!

    Would tweak the clouds for more umph !! .. new term in our gallery :) .. umph is important :cool:

    Hi Bob, agree with Lances notice of the horizon. Needs a bit of CW rotation which I did in the repost.I also felt the sky needed some tweaking to bring out more detail. I used S/H in CS5. Finally I cropped a bit off the top. I did it quickly so please ignore some misses in selection...
