Flipped Stargazer Lily

This started as a macro image of a Stargazer lily I photographed from the grocery store this past winter. I flipped it horizontally and then flipped all that vertically. I then rotated the image 90 degrees, laid that over the top of the first image and used a blend mode (soft light I think?) to make it almost disappear - but that's the reason there is some depth to the sides. Added a curves adjustment, high pass filter, and I don't remember what else. Whew...time for bed!

Jules, By the thumbnail I could tell it was a Stargazer w/o looking at the title. I like that even though it's an abstract it is still recognizable. Lovely colors and shapes.

I still think these are way harder than I ever imagined but they do start to grow on you, don't they? Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'll have to keep playing with this new mind game!
