Default Red Squirrel - A perch fit for a Queen

I created this image this past April. I found this female squirrel perched in a well worn bird feeder along one of the local nature trails. She just seemed to be waiting for someone to wait on her.

    Canon EOS 40D and Sigma 50-500mm at 500mm. Exposure - 1/250 seconds, F 6.30, Manual control,
ISO 800, Flash - Flash not fired, compulsory flash mode. Image full framed.

Fitting tittle and cuteness over the top !!! Love these little guys !! ...probably looking for the bird feeding schedule :) ..btw a tiny more turn would have had only one eye visible !!!

This is a very cute animal, no doubt. I would have preferred it without the 'hand of man' light coloured hinged bit, but I guess you take these images when you can. I love the little front paws tucked in and the hair from the tail showing above the head.
