    Default Weekly Theme: Orange Julia

This is one I did a while ago, so I've forgotten all of the meanderings I took to get it. The original was an orange Julia butterfly. I used liquify to push and pull the wings the way I wanted, then did the flip. The final touch was Nik Color Efex detail stylizer. Thanks for looking.

Cindy, this is beautifully done. I love the orange and greens together. And the neatest thing is it still looks like a butterfly:)

Very nice artful look to this. I recognized the Nik effect and I must say you used it well. I like the border that is around the image. Colors and lighting look great.:)

Cindy, I was playing around with that same effect tonight only yours looks much better. Love the idea of using the liquify filter first and then flipping...this is beautiful for digital art!

Super image Cindy! Very creative thinking and use of the filters. I love how the effect is not entirely symmetrical. I see faces in there, but we won't go into that... ;) The detail stylizer is one of my faves.

Inventive use of the Stylizer filter Cindy. And the BG and FG contrast are great!
