    Used Nikon D 70s & Sigma 500mm lens 1/500 at F5.6.

    Hi Ray, nice altercation, The image seems very underexposed to me. I used Shadow/Highlight with Amount 43, Tonal Width, 53 Radius, 91, cropped the bird's left wing to match the other one and some off the top and corrected the yellows color cast in ColorBalance, adding bit of blue.

    Your rendition does brighten the image a bit. But on my monitor it also intensifies a blue halo effect on the tops of the wings of the bird with its wings spread. This halo is also present in the original posting but is much less pronounced there.

    I would try to reduce or eliminate that halo.:)

    Well, ospreys are known to be good at fishing. Now we know why! :p
