This past weekend I was invited by the owner of the company I work for to join him and his family at a private game reserve which he belongs to in New Hampshire. The park covers better than twenty thousand acres and is inaccessible to non-members. I don't hunt (except with a long lens) so he invited me during the off season.
This was taken in a feedlot where we had seen a few boar and, after putting out some feed, there was a whole mess of them when we came back. This was my favorite shot. I probably don't need to say this, but let's keep the ethics of hunting a game preserve out of the discussion. Some might equate it to shooting fish in a barrel, but having seen it in the off-season that is far from the truth. We put in 70 miles looking for elk and I only got a couple shots at the very end of the third day, and even those were through heavy brush.
Technically, this photo probably should have been cropped slightly on the right, basically back to rear end of the right-most piglet. I forgot. Maybe I'll re-edit.
Hi Ben This brought a smile to my face :) Great looking family !!
About all I would do is take some from the top ( just a little) .. got four good looks at the camera, difficult with multiple subjects !!! Fine image !!
