    Hi All
Another of my Swans at Sunrise on the Perth foreshore. I have tried to include the suggestions from my last post in this effort. Hope you enjoy..

Don - I like this more than the last one. The clouds and the water trail really add to the image. Nice reflection too. There seems to be something blue and distracting in the opening between the trees up from the swan's tail. It may be a roof.

A lovely morning, and nice ambiance with spectacular clouds. The blue area may be a distant hill, but I agree with Rachel that it is a bit distracting; likewise the few white specs in the trees that could easily be removed. I can't tell for sure on my screen, but it appears the swan may not be in sharp focus. I wonder if stopping down even further, using a tripod, and possibly increasing the ISO if necessary might help the next one. Keep the series going.

    Hi guys

Thanks for the comments and compliments. The blue patch is indeed a hill at some distance. It's amazing how you dont see these things until someone points them out, then you feel silly for not noticing them yourself...:(. Attention to detail is the answer..

Hi Don,dramatic image, well handled exposure along with beautiful color. The blue in the distance look like mountains and attract the eye due to the breakup of the black silhouette with a splash of blue.
The swan silhouette is handled well without merging in shadow.I would of preferred the swan a bit more off center. Another idea is to crop the left side about an inch to the left of the blue mountains. This will offset the swan. Good one!

Really outstanding! I hope you're going to print this and frame it!

If you move the bird to the left, you might as well cheat a little more and fix the reflection!

Thank you all for the help and encouragement. David your repost is much improved over OP. I did consider cropping from the left to bring the swan into the left third but decided against this as it removed a some of the best cloud formation. I did not consider moving the bird which in hindsite is very easy and obviously a big improvement. Thanks again to everyone...
