    Hey Kobus,
I can see why this one is one of your favorites! I like the strong play of light and dark with the bright areas placed in interesting positions throughout the frame. I am going to recommend a bit of lightening on the RH 1/3 of the image (except the brightest area in the water) but take this with a grain of salt as I am working right now in a fairly bright room......just to bring out a bit more detail in that area.

Very strong comp and mood to this! One of my favorites of yours too!

Hi Kobus, well worth the effort put into the image. Good balance to the comp with a number of subtlties.(sp?)
I like the explosive splash with just enough foreground in front of it. Good detail in the water with soft light.
The splash on the left and wave on the right balance a centered sun. In this case the centering doesn't bother me.
Some interest in the sky but just enough shown.
Very strong and highly interesting image. Good choice for B&W. Well done Kobus!

A powerful image, Kobus. The crash can be felt! B&W choice adds to the impact of this image. TFS.

You know I like this. Very dynamic image with great use of the tonal range in conversion bud...

Good for all the reasons mentioned. I also like that the FG spray is mimicked in the BG on the left.
