    I like the environment Steve and the comp works for me with the animal looking to the left like this. A pity you used ISO 1600, the noise is clearly visible in the top half of the image, maybe some noise reduction could improve this. If you would have opened up you could have gotten away with using ISO 800 or less.

    The noise reduction you did use seems to have given this image a painterly quality. I like it!
