Looks like stopping down to f/8 got both of them in focus- nice!

Is this unusual behavior between two species?

Colin, I am not sure, but this is the first time I saw two species interact in this way.
I have one shot of two ibis and a juvi.

Always great to see friendly inter-species action. Angle, BG and poses look very good. I might sharpen the birds a tad more.

It is always an excellent bonus to have two (or more) different species in the frame, especially when interacting nicely such as here!! This looks rather, shall I say it, intimate! Good job on the techs, and great low angle. I agree on sharpening the subjects a bit more.

Troy, Beautiful interaction. The low angle is sweet. I like the water color and the BG. It must have been cool to see.:)

Troy, this is absolutely adorable, only possible with juveniles, I guess :)
Remember, Thursday we start an Interaction Project, in case you have or can create some more.
Agree in another round of sharpening.
